Charlotte Street’s Studio Residency welcomes the public to the annual Open Studios event at Town Pavilion this Saturday, April 21st, 2018.Visitors are free to come into our artists’ studios for a behind-the-scenes view of the Studio Residency Program.
Town Pavilion is located in downtown KCMO at 1100 Walnut Street and is on the sixth floor of the building. The event will be free and open to the public from 3-10 PM and will only take place on that Saturday. Free refreshments will be provided and the event is family friendly.
This is your chance to meet all 32 artists currently in residence, learn more about their work and processes, attend live music and dance performances, readings, exhibitions, activities, talks, sales, and more.
To access our studios in Town Pavilion, you can use the building entrance facing Walnut Street that is directly in front of Oppenstein Brothers Memorial Park. The elevator lobby will be towards your right. Volunteers will be there to activate elevators and they will be required to grant you access to the sixth floor.
Parking can be found in various areas around Town Pavilion. Free and metered parking is available on various blocks around Town Pavilion. With a ticket validation from Cosentino’s or Kaldi’s Coffee comes parking in the Cosentino’s parking lot. You can also park near Union Station and ride the KC Streetcar to Town Pavilion.
